Why We Care

More than 33% of adults in Escambia County have been diagnosed with hypertension. This means that one in three adults is living with high blood pressure, which is a major risk factor for heart disease, stroke, and other serious health issues.
Even more concerning is that many people with hypertension are unaware of their condition, putting them at greater risk for complications. Early detection and monitoring are crucial to catching and preventing the deadly effects of this silent killer.
Join us for an afternoon dedicated to the health of our community.

Feedback from our event

"They gave me a free scale and blood pressure machine. The lady was explaining how to use it and when I'm supposed to call my doctor."
